Dr Seuss Themed Kids Room Ideas

Cat in the Hat room - I love the boldness of the red and white stripes. Yet, I really love the simplicity of the room - not a lot of multi colors as usually done in a Dr. Seuss room. Image of the Cat in the Hat room

The Craft Monkey updated her sons room with the Dr. Seuss kids room theme

 framed ABC cards

Angela from Ketchup with the Hunts purchased Dr. Seuss bedding at Pottery Barn (a while back).

Angela says, "Here is my newest addition to the nursery, a mobile. I couldn't find a mobile that I liked that also matched the room so I decided to make one. I'm not sure that I am in love with it, but Ethan loves it! That's all that matters. The Dr. Seuss mobile pieces are double sided. I purchased them from a teacher store. The total cost of this mobile was $3. Nothing on this mobile, the ribbon, the paint, the wood, cost more than $0.30. It is just hanging from the ceiling."

Totally cool green eggs and ham room designed by Nancy Hadley. The little stools are used as a book case.

Wouldn't this be a cool idea to use a Cat in the Hat striped hat to make room lighting? You would need someone who knows about electrical lighting to make this work so it wouldn't be a fire hazard.

That reading corner is adorable, and could very well work for any child's room if you were to play around with the decor.

If I have another baby some day, I might just have to do this theme! SUPER CUTE!

I love the bright, bold colors of the cartoon furniture. The Dr. Seuss rooms are so cute too. What inspiring ideas you have.
