Grey & Yellow Modern Nursery

Using grey paint on the walls as the foundation creates a neutral backdrop for the yellow and black accents that help make the room pop. The grey and yellow combo color has a clean, simple modern feel and is perfect for a gender neutral room.  Wall Paint: Benjamin Moore Silvery Moon. My favorites in the room:
  • yellow pouf
  • zebra rug
  • yellow dresser
  • cream colored with black piping rocker
  • and the abacus above the dresser
Room designed by Dina of Honey & Fitz (for her little boy Knox) with help from friend Nicole Lanteri of On My Agenda.

Dresser paint: Benjamin Moore Bold Yellow

Thank you all so much for the kind words about our nursery! We have loved every minute we've spent in this room with our son. Just to set to the record straight, I hired Nicole of On My Agenda to design this room, the layout and source most of the items. It was a great example of an "e-design" process where she put together the design and then I worked slowly at making it a reality on our timeline. I cannot recommend her services enough. Even if you have an idea of what you want the final room to look like, having a second pair of eyes on the space to bring additional perspectives is invaluable. And the final design is definitely reflective of her interior design leadership. We love it!
