Chelsea describes the room, " I chose the paint color first, then the fabrics and then just sort of let loose with the projects! The guitar is an old guitar that my husband sanded down and painted. We then attached the fabric strings and covered the pick guard with fabric. It was a rather simple project that turned out exactly as we wanted. The letters on the wall are cardboard letters purchased at a craft store. We just simply wrapped the fabric around the letters like a mummy. The rings on the wall are just embroidery hoops with fabric in them. That was probably the easiest project of them all. I think it is such a great way to tie in all of your colors and fabrics and also take up a wall. The two framed bird fabric pictures were very simple projects. We took poster board and cut out the shape of the birds and put some batting behind the fabric and put the frame together! It was so easy and so cheap and such a great way to display the birds and showcase fabric! The pillows, window valance and bed skirt are all made out of our fabrics as well. But probably my most favorite project displayed in the room is the branch of birds with the song lyric. I found this idea and the sewing pattern and couldn't WAIT to do it in my nursery. I am so happy with how our nursery turned out. It all came together piece by piece to make a very welcoming and serene area for our daughter."
Chelsea sewed these fabric birds using the pattern below.

thank you toni! :)
I love what you have done! Can I ask the paint brand/color you used for the walls? it is such a calming color.
Where did you get the wall decal that says "The Littlest Birds Sing the Prettiest Songs"?
We actually used a projector and painted the lyric onto the wall. I love the font we chose! The paint color is Behr Ultra Balmy Seas.
