Sock Monkey Bedrooms

Wendy from The Shabby Nest created this classic sock monkey bedroom for her two little guys.  Very classic, serene neutral bedroom with pops of red and brown.

Love how the accessories are staged.

These are all so fantastic. Who didn't have a sock monkey growing up? I love the retro room with the three on the wall. Too cute!

Your site is FABULOUS!!! I love it! I love decorating rooms in themes too. One of my sons loves horses so I took the drawings from a sketch pad of my dad's in high school and blew them up and transferred them on the wall and painted them. I made a rag quilt of cowboy prints for his bed and a denim and leather fringe curtain for his window hung up by antlers with red handkerchiefs. My other son loves tractors so I painted a tractor mural on is wall and everything in there is John Deere from the quilt I made and the curtains. In their play room, I painted 6 different Bible stories on the walls that kids love (Noah's ark, David & Goliath, etc.) I just love doing that and your site gives me sooooo much inspiration! Glad I found you!
