Their inspiration was this little boys vest...
"I originally painted the room grey in anticipation of a little girl’s grey and lavender room only to find out I was having a boy. Although I was disappointed at first, I found this sweater and was instantly smitten by it and used it to design the nursery around. One of the best things about the inspiration is that it had grey in it because we didn’t want to re-paint the room again if we could help it."

That is an amazing room! So sophisticated. I love the color palette and the argyle. You can tell that a lot of thought went into every detail.
ReplyDeleteOh how I wish I would have seen this nursery when we were getting the nursery together for my 14 month old son. We have the exact same sweater and argyle is my lil guy's signature style!! His crib bedding is argyle and I would have loved to have tried my hand at painting his wall to match. Not sure I can convince the hubby to give it a try now. lol
