Lego fans you're in for a treat! Anita Roll painted this fun lego themed boys room. The lego room was painted in a model home in Raleigh, N.C. for Beazer Homes. The designer, Dawn Kines, put the headboard together from game pieces. Aren't you impressed with the headboard? Hhhmmmm.... I wonder how difficult that would be to make?
Here's my guess on "How to make a lego headboard."
I'm estimating several hundred legos (depending on the size), some good E6000 glue, a waiting period to dry and a couple of hangers to hang it and you've got yourself an over-the-top fun lego headboard. You don't necessarily have to attach a headboard to the bed - sometimes its easier to hang a headboard!
The colorful bright primary colors are perfect for this lego theme room. Thank you Anita for sharing these room photos with us!Another lego room....
Image from here.Okay, so maybe you don't need to have all four walls in lego boards. How about a half wall or one wall?

Wow! How cool is this?!!

You can actually get kids furniture made by lego now too!
ReplyDeleteHow do you get the lego plates to stay on the wall?
ReplyDeleteThe Legos used in the headboard look too large to be actual Lego bricks.
ReplyDeleteMy guess is they are Duplo blocks by Lego, (giant Lego-like blocks for toddlers).
awesome! I'm pinning anything lego related I can find for a possible bedroom makeover in our house! thank you!
