Inexpensive Kids Room Idea

Check out this headboard all made of foam noodles! Yes, that's right - pool foam noodles, water noodles, swim noodle what ever you call it. It's a flexible, light-weight polyethylene foam resistant to water and used in the pool. This headboard was created using several of them stacked on top of one another. Check out the dollar stores during the summer and you can create this headboard for cheap. Another inexpensive idea is using rope to decorate around the bedroom walls - not only is it decorative but its functional! Look closely, the rope is also used to hold towels which can be considered art or used as a towel/coat rack.

Very cute! That head board is darling!

I love the Dollar Store! I start there sometimes. I took their little Easter basket purses--9 of them, tore out the lining, ribbon, handles, and replaced them with my own ribbon choice and handles. My husband hung them for me, now they hold up to 36 dvd's/small electronics--out of my two year old's grasp=) Yea!!! Love, love the Dollar Store.

Lovely and this room is perfect for kids regardless of their gender. I have been a believer that parents should go for unisex rooms, for in my opinion, you do not interfere with what your kids want and helping them with their identities.
